Franck Ribery caught up in child prostitute scandal
Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery was summoned before a judge to be questioned
over claims he had paid for an underage hooker.
The married France international was called as a witness after a dawn raid
on the Zaman cafe in Paris, which doubled up as a legal brothel.
Chelsea target Ribery is alleged to have bedded a 17-year-old prostitute.
He reportedly claims that he thought the girl was 18, which is the minimum age
for prostitution in France.
Ribery’s lawyer Sophie Bottai said: “My client had no other part to play in this matter.
Some personalities, including Franck Ribery and other players, have a relationship
with someone close to the organiser of an escort girl network.”
As if to prove his Champions League impartiality, the judge also summoned
